INTERMEDIATE PROGRAM

Ages 6–15 | 90 Minute Classes | 2–3 days per week | Colonel Francis Beatty Park (CFBP)

This program is designed to develop rallying skills, game strategies, refining technique and much more. It is great for older kids who are new to tennis, and it helps intermediate tournament players and players advancing toward tournament play. Our goal with the Intermediate Program is to cultivate a learning environment that helps students fall in love with tennis. Intermediate classes include much more live-ball hitting than the Beginner classes: students develop control over the ball through cooperative drills, competitive games and individual/team point play, using a combination of 8U, 10U and full-court dimensions. Students will need a comprehensive understanding of consistency, spins (topspin and slice), control, touch, serves, basic strategies and scoring before they are eligible for the Advanced Program.
