JUNIOR BEGINNER PROGRAM I

Ages 5–9 | 60 Minute Classes | 1–3 days per week | Colonel Francis Beatty Park (CFBP)

This program is designed to introduce kids ages 5 to 9 to tennis. During these classes, students focus on developing basic hand-eye coordination, dynamic movement and racket control, so they can have fun playing tennis effectively. Our goal is to cultivate a learning environment that helps kids fall in love with tennis and sets a great foundation for a life sport. Fun is the first priority, while developing the athletic skills necessary to become a great tennis player. Students will need a comprehensive understanding of racket control, ball control, listening skills and how to keep score before they are eligible to move up to Junior Beginner Program II.
